With Gratitude for a Prophet's Life of Service

Our hearts are tender as we mourn the passing of our beloved prophet, President Russell M. Nelson, and as we grieve with our brothers and sisters in Michigan during their time of confusion and sorrow.
In moments of loss and even persecution, President Nelson’s teachings lift us. He taught us to let Christ prevail, to be peacemakers, to find peace in Christ, to embrace the temple as central to our discipleship, and to cherish the covenants that bind us to God and to one another.
And He often reminded us to “Think Celestial” and to anchor our lives in eternal truths.
With deep reverence and heartfelt gratitude, we pause to reflect on the life and ministry of President Russell M. Nelson. While we mourn his passing, we feel uplifted by the many ways his prophetic service has blessed Saints around the world.
To honor the incredible life and enduring legacy of President Russell M. Nelson, we invite you to view this infographic summarizing some of the most significant contributions he made during his service as Prophet of the Church.

One of President Nelson's most cherished invitations was to “think celestial”—to lift our vision beyond the temporal and align our desires with eternal realities. His teachings beckoned us toward a higher perspective.
President Nelson expanded our view of gathering Israel on both sides of the veil, encouraging us to care for ancestors and to see temple work in a broader, eternal light. He invited all of God’s children to progress on the covenant path and tenderly reached out to those who had wandered, calling them back home.
Perhaps his most visible legacy was in the realm of temples. He announced 200 temples during his presidency, accelerating access to sacred ordinances around the globe.
His global ministry took him to many nations, blessing members far and wide with his presence, testimonies, and temple dedications.
We stand on the shoulders of his prophetic service, and we feel gratitude for the direction he offered. May his legacy continue to inspire us to press forward with faith, love, and steadfast devotion to the Lord.
